Storing spices

Storing spices such as whole cumin, coriander, fenugreek, as well ass dried spices and spice mixes such as garam masala, is best done in dark places. Many people keep them in glass jars so to keep the spices at their best you should always have them in a cupboard or draw.

This way the sunlight cannot get to them and your spices will stay fresher for longer.
