Sam the dog
My dogs name is Sam - He is a boxer - I hate dogs but he's OK I suppose. He has skin allergies and scratches all the time - this drives me mad. He scratches in his bed, on the floor, on my bed, on the sofa, on the curtains, in the car. He never, ever, stops. He is also clingy - I go to the bathroom, he goes to the bathroom. I go to bed, he comes to my bed. I go to the hall, he comes to the hall. He's not a little dog. This drives me mad as he is always in the way. It's also a problem if we leave the house and cannot take him with us. He wont eat, wont sleep, wont drink and he attacks the door and carpet or lino. We get back and there are chunks out of the door, the carpet is ripped up and he is stressed. I am stressed too - it's my nice door and my nice carpet I bloody hate dogs. I took him to a dog trainer - they told me all sorts of things to help, none of them worked. To stop him coming upstairs to my room, he told me to put tinfoil on my stairs. No dog will cross tinfoil he said. Yeah right. Didn't work. He told me to fill a bottle with stones and throw it at him every time Sam did something wrong, like follow me. This just made the dog miserable and didnt stop him following me, He told me to fill a kong with peanut butter and leave it in his bed when we left the house. He ignored the kong He told me to lock him in the bathroom at nights with his bed to get him used too being on his own. There went my bathroom door and lino. I bloody hate dogs. |
