Burghead Well
Burghead is a small fishing town on the Moray Firth in Scotland. It's most famous attraction is the Burghead Well. The origins of the Burghead Well are a little obscure but it is a fantastic monument which goes back a long long time. It is a high chamber sculpted from the rock face and contains a well of unknown depths. Admission is free and you simply need to retrieve the key from a Mrs Main who lives at 69 King street For location purposes use the following address: King Street Burghead Scotland Signposted at the north end of Grant Street |
