Bad SEO technique - Cloaking
Cloaking is where you design an area of your site where one thing is seen by the search engines and another by the site visitor. Google and the other search engines do not like this trickery, basically this is fooling the search engines into giving you better ranking positions for certain keywords and driving more traffic through your site. Cloaking can be done through sneaky redirects or programming. This technique will get you banned from the search engines and although it may work in the short term, in the long term it will only harm your website. |
